Clearly, I suck at posting. It's been weeks since my last post, and I now write to ask for your forgiveness. So what's my problem?
Well for one thing, the process is new to me. And to be honest I was not all that excited about creating a blog in the first place. However, I realize its value, and I greatly appreciate those of you who post comments, so I hope to make more frequent posts from this day forward.
I'm also incredibly lazy. Now that I'm no longer in production, and no longer gainfully employed for that matter, you'd think that I'd have all the time in the world to commit to the blog, and in fact I due, but I always seem to find something else to do -- like gardening and cooking.
Finally, I'm not really sure what to say. I marvel at others who post daily -- like Susan Harris at GardenRant. But after 14 years of writing about every aspect of gardening, it's as though my creative well has run dry. (Are you beginning to feel sorry for me? I didn't think so.)
Nevertheless, I started this beast, and I intend to tame it. I still have plenty to say, so bear with me as I struggle to find my voice. And in the meantime, feel free to let me know what you want to hear.
I'll be in touch. Sooner rather than later.
